Job Summary

What You’ll Do

  • Keep our books clean: maintain accurate and timely financial records for all projects.
  • Support project budgets: track, monitor, and report on program expenditures.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) for management and donors.
  • Reconcile bank statements and manage cash transactions in line with policy.
  • Ensure compliance with donor guidelines, internal policies, and financial best practices.
  • Work with program staff to make sure every Naira is accounted for transparently.
  • Help strengthen internal controls and promote accountability across the organisation.

What We’re Looking For

  • A Degree / HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • At least 1 year of accounting/finance experience (internship/volunteer work counts!).
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel (knowledge of accounting software is a plus).
  • Familiarity with NGO financial systems or donor compliance is an advantage.
  • Detail-oriented, trustworthy, and committed to transparency.
  • A problem-solver who’s eager to learn and contribute to a dynamic NGO environment.
