Job Posting Policy
Last Updated: April 2026
At My NGO Jobs, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity in humanitarian recruitment. To protect job seekers and maintain the prestige of our platform, all employers and recruiters must adhere to this Job Posting Policy.
1. Zero Tolerance for Recruitment Fees
My NGO Jobs strictly prohibits any job posting that requires a candidate to pay a fee at any stage of the recruitment process.
- We do not allow “application fees,” “processing fees,” “medical clearance fees,” or “security deposit” requests.
- Any organization found requesting money from candidates will be permanently banned from our ecosystem, including Relief Scholars and our partner networks.
2. Verified & Legitimate Vacancies
Every job posted must represent a real, current opening within a registered Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), International Organization (INGO), or Development Partner.
- No “Ghost” Jobs: Postings must not be used solely for “CV mining” or data collection without an active intent to hire.
- Accuracy: The job title, location (e.g., Abuja, Maiduguri, Kano), and requirements must be accurate and clearly defined.
3. Prohibited Content
We will immediately remove any posting that contains:
- Discriminatory language based on race, religion, gender, or disability (unless a specific gender is a legal occupational requirement for field safety).
- Misleading or deceptive claims about salary or benefits.
- Links to unofficial or suspicious application portals.
- Adult or prohibited services.
4. Direct Application Links
To ensure a premium user experience, we prioritize postings that allow candidates to apply directly through:
- The official organization website (e.g., unicef.org, msf.org).
- A verified professional HR email address.
- Our internal secure application system.
5. Standard for Regional Postings (Northern Nigeria)
For roles in high-impact zones such as Borno, Yobe, Zamfara and Adamawa, recruiters are encouraged to specify safety protocols or residency requirements to ensure the well-being of the candidates and the success of the mission.
6. Reporting Fraud
If a candidate encounters a suspicious posting on our platform, they are encouraged to report it immediately to support@myngojobs.com. We investigate all reports within 24 hours.
