Job Title: Lead Consultant (Guidelines Review)

Job ID: 2026-7688

Consultancy Duration: 3 Months (10 days per month)

Overview

Significant clinical advancements, including the E-MOTIVE bundle (Early detection using calibrated drapes, Massage, Oxytocics, Tranexamic Acid, IV fluids, and Examination), the introduction of Heat-Stable Carbetocin, and the expanded use of Tranexamic Acid (TXA), necessitate an immediate update of Nigeria’s policy environment.
  • In addition to global updates, the revision will integrate Nigeria’s implementation learning and best practices (e.g., national and state experience from quality improvement, commodity introduction, provider training and supervision models, and PPH measurement approaches) to strengthen feasibility, uptake, and scale.
