THE OPPORTUNITY
Ipsos is one of the world’s largest market and social research firms. In Nigeria, we are expanding our field operations team and seeking experienced, detail-oriented Field Supervisors to lead nationwide data collection exercises.
This is a premier opportunity for research professionals to manage high-stakes public affairs and social research studies. You will be responsible for the integrity of our data, the efficiency of our enumerators, and the successful delivery of insights that shape policy and business decisions.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Team Leadership: Supervise, guide, and coordinate teams of enumerators during active fieldwork.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct routine spot-checks and back-checks to verify data accuracy and consistency.
- Protocol Enforcement: Ensure all field activities strictly adhere to project guidelines, research ethics, and quality standards.
- Operational Management: Monitor progress in real-time, provide operational support, and troubleshoot field challenges as they arise.
- Reporting: Maintain rigorous documentation of field activities and submit regular progress reports to State Coordinators.
CANDIDATE SPECIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
- Degree: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Social Sciences, Statistics, Public Administration, or related fields.
- Experience: At least 2 years of proven experience in field supervision or research management.
- Background: Prior experience as a field interviewer or enumerator is highly desirable.
Technical & Soft Skills
- Leadership: Strong ability to manage diverse teams and ensure productivity under pressure.
- Detail-Oriented: A relentless commitment to data quality and protocol compliance.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage stakeholder expectations in the field.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel and work across various assigned locations nationwide.
