Call for Data Collectors for A Nation-wide Assessment of Productivity, Markets, and Innovation Readiness in Nigeria’s Agricultural Ecosystem

Crest Research and Development Institute (CRADI) is an independent nonprofit research and development organization committed to improving the human condition through evidence-based research, humanitarian response and learning. As part of its ongoing research initiatives, CRADI is conducting A Nation-wide Assessment of Productivity, Markets, and Innovation Readiness in Nigeria’s Agricultural Ecosystem through its Agricultural Transformation Lab.

To support this exercise, CRADI seeks to recruit qualified and experienced Data Collectors to conduct field data collection across all states. Selected individuals will play a critical role in gathering accurate, reliable and timely data.

The baseline will cover all 36 states of Nigeria and the Federal Capital Territory, including all 774 Local Government Areas, to generate ward-level data for the Agricultural Transformation Lab.

The study will focus on mapping agricultural production, market actors, pricing and value chains, digital readiness, innovation adoption, and the agricultural entrepreneurship ecosystem, while assessing inclusion of women, youth, and persons with disabilities. The baseline will be implemented in a phased and systematic manner, beginning with data collection at ward and LGA levels, followed by aggregation, analysis, and validation to provide actionable insights for ATL interventions and market-driven solutions.
