Commitment: Full-time, 6–12 months (renewable)
Represents OHRI at the state level, manages all state-level programs and personnel, and ensures effective coordination between headquarters and field implementation teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide overall leadership and oversight for OHRI programs and operations in the assigned state.
- Develop state-level work plans, budgets, and activity schedules aligned with organizational strategy.
- Supervise state team members including Project Officers, MEAL Officers, and Finance & Admin Officers.
- Build and maintain relationships with state government ministries, local government authorities, and community stakeholders.
- Ensure timely submission of state-level reports, data, and documentation to the HQ.
- Manage state-level security, logistics, and administrative functions.
- Identify local partnership opportunities and represent OHRI in state-level forums.
Specific Requirements:
- Bachelor\’s degree or higher in Public Health, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in program management, preferably at the state or LGA level.
- Demonstrated leadership, team management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Deep knowledge of the political, social, and security context of the assigned state.
- Residency in the assigned state is mandatory.
- Commitment of 6–12 months minimum.

- Must be a Nigerian citizen or legal resident.
- Minimum age of 18 years.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Hausa or local languages is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively in multicultural teams.
- Willingness to travel to field locations within assigned states, including rural and underserved communities.
- Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office, email, internet); advanced digital skills required for technical roles.
- Must possess a valid means of identification (National ID, Voter\’s Card, Driver\’s License, or International Passport).
