The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is expanding its operations in Borno State and is looking for disciplined, technically skilled, and motivated individuals to join our transport team in Maiduguri.

Applying to an International NGO like the IRC requires attention to detail. Follow these steps to ensure your application is considered:
Step 1: Prepare Your Documents

- Valid License: A clear photo or scan of your National Driver’s License.
- Certificates: Your Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSCE).
Step 2: The Online Application (Workday)

- Select “Create Account” (if you haven’t applied to IRC before). Use an email address you check regularly.
- Upload Resume: You can upload your CV, and the system will try to fill in your details automatically. Always check for errors after it finishes.
Step 3: Highlighting “Hidden” Skills
IRC Drivers are expected to be more than just “drivers.” In the “Experience” or “Skills” section of the form, make sure you mention:
- Computer Skills: Specifically mention you can use Microsoft Word and Excel. This is a mandatory requirement for IRC fleet reporting.
- Communication Tools: If you have used VHF/HF radios or satellite phones before, list them.
- Minor Repairs: Mention if you can handle routine vehicle maintenance (checking oil, changing tires, minor fixes).
Step 4: The “IRC Way” Alignment
