We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Employee Services Officer

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Part-time
Reporting Line: Head, Human Resources

Profile Summary

  • The Employee Services Officer is responsible for managing and delivering efficient HR administrative and welfare services to employees.
  • This role supports employee engagement, benefits administration, records management, and overall employee satisfaction, ensuring smooth HR operations and compliance with company policies and labor regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee HR administration and maintain accurate employee records.
  • Manage staff onboarding and exit processes to ensure a seamless employee experience.
  • Maintain and update the employee database in line with HR standards.
  • Administer payroll and employee benefits programs.
  • Design and implement recognition and rewards initiatives.
  • Develop, update, and monitor HR policies and procedures.
  • Organize and manage HR events such as TGIFs, town halls, and wellness programs.
  • Conduct HR surveys and engagement activities to measure organizational climate.
  • Support recruitment processes and coordinate candidate experiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Education, or related field.
  • Professional certifications in Talent Management, Learning & Development (L&D), or Organizational Development (OD) (e.g., APHRi, CIPM, SHRM) are preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in talent development, L&D, or organizational development.
  • Proven experience managing HR administration.
  • Strong understanding of performance management integration.
  • Working knowledge of labor laws.
  • Basic understanding of talent acquisition processes.
  • Age Range: 28–35 years
