Job Description

  • We are seeking an experienced a Subsea Yards Fabrication Yard Manager M/W to oversee the daily operations of our yards Nigeria.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the overall fabrication of deliverables, ensuring on-time delivery, and optimizing commercial efficiencies.
  • This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise in fabrication, and a commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • We are offering you the opportunity to join us as technical support. The position is based in Port Harcourt in Nigeria.

Responsibilities
The position we are offering involves the following main responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations of PNL fabrication yards to ensure timely completion of deliverables;
  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements and optimize efficiency;
  • Supervise yard crews, equipment, and subcontractors to ensure timely and quality delivery;
  • Oversee production planning, scheduling, and reporting;
  • Monitor and evaluate fabrication equipment performance; schedule preventive maintenance and replacements to ensure uninterrupted production;
  • Review work drawings and specifications for accuracy and compliance with industry standards before production.

Profile

  • You have a Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • You have proven experience in fabrication yard management, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector, with a focus on subsea equipment (piping and metallic structures).
  • You have a strong leadership and team management skills. You are proficient in production planning, scheduling, and reporting.
  • You have the knowledge of fabrication equipment and preventive maintenance practices.You have the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • You have an excellent communication skills, and you are fluent in English.
