Job Description

The Pharmacy Technician will assist with the preparation, dispensing and management of medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist within KTHSMB healthcare facilities. The role involves processing prescriptions, maintaining pharmacy records, managing inventory and ensuring proper storage and handling of pharmaceutical products.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in dispensing medications under pharmacist supervision.
• Receive, process and verify prescription orders.
• Prepare, package and accurately label medications.
• Maintain and update pharmacy records and documentation.
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or expired products.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of pharmaceutical products.
• Assist with basic drug compounding and preparation.
• Support inventory control and stock management.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy.
• Provide basic information to patients under appropriate supervision.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Pharmacy Technician or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical procedures.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Relevant professional experience.
