Job Description

The X-Ray Technician will perform routine radiographic procedures to support clinical diagnosis and patient management within KTHSMB healthcare facilities. The role involves operating X-ray equipment, preparing and positioning patients, ensuring radiation safety and maintaining accurate imaging records.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine X-ray examinations as requested.
• Prepare and correctly position patients for imaging procedures.
• Operate X-ray machines and related radiographic equipment.
• Follow radiation safety and protection standards.
• Assist in processing and reviewing radiographic images.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
• Report equipment faults and assist with routine maintenance.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety within the imaging unit.
• Support radiographers and clinicians during procedures.
• Provide clear instructions and reassurance to patients.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in X-Ray Technology or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of radiographic procedures.
• Understanding of radiation safety practices.
• Good communication and patient-care skills.
• Relevant professional experience.
