About the Assignment
The recruitment is for the End-of-Cycle (EoC) evaluation using the Lot Quality Assurance Sampling (LQAS) methodology.
The exercise aims to:
- Assess SMC coverage
- Monitor adherence to treatment protocols
- Identify low-performing wards for corrective action
Successful supervisors will oversee data collectors and support field coordination using electronic platforms such as SurveyCTO.
Key Responsibilities of Supervisors
Selected candidates will:
- Attend a 2-day physical training facilitated by National Consultants.
- Train and mentor data collectors using participatory learning methods.
- Supervise field data collection activities across assigned LGAs.
- Monitor data quality using supervision checklists.
- Support SurveyCTO troubleshooting and data validation.
- Coordinate logistics, mobilization, and community entry.
- Prepare supervision reports and recommendations.
Expected Deliverables
Each supervisor will supervise up to 2 LGAs and will be required to:
- Develop and submit supervision schedules.
- Ensure quality control during household interviews.
- Conduct real-time field validation.

Requirements for Applicants
Applicants must possess:
- A minimum of BSc/HND in Social Sciences or Health-related disciplines.
- Experience in public health research and field data collection.

- Strong communication and supervision skills.
- Familiarity with local communities and terrain.
- Ability to speak local languages such as Hausa, Yoruba, Kanuri, etc.

- Previous LQAS survey experience.
