JOB SUMMARY
The Transport and Customs Supervisor is responsible for organizing and following up on all customs clearance processes (Air, Sea, Road) and managing international and local transport logistics. This role serves as a vital link between MSF, government authorities, and transport providers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Customs & Regulatory: Manage the Single Window Trade Portal; process IDEC, SONCAP, and End User Certificates (EUC); liaise with Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Health, and Customs.
- Transport Logistics: Coordinate cargo priority, monitor shipments, and conduct transport market assessments.
- Contracting: Manage cargo bookings (including MSF flights) and support tendering for transport companies.
- Administration: Monthly reporting on transport/customs data and cost analysis (ARO/Freight).
- Supervision: Manage staff and daily workers, ensuring work quality and schedules.
REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Technical Diploma in Supply Chain or Transport is essential.
- Experience: 2–3 years in Supply/Importation process in Nigeria.
- Skills: Proficiency in MS Word and Excel; English fluency.
