Job Title: Registered Nurse / Midwife

Location: Lekki Phase 1,Lagos 
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a Registered Nurse/Registered Midwife (RN/RM) is responsible for providing professional nursing and midwifery services, including antenatal, labour, delivery, postnatal, neonatal, and general patient care in line with Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) standards and hospital policies

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide quality nursing care to patients.
  • Monitor and record patients’ vital signs and clinical conditions.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Provide antenatal, labour, delivery, and postnatal care to mothers and newborns.
  • Assist with normal deliveries and identify cases requiring escalation.
  • Educate patients and relatives on health, hygiene, nutrition, and family care.
  • Maintain accurate nursing and maternity records.
  • Ensure compliance with infection prevention and control procedures.
  • Support emergency response and patient stabilization when required.
  • Work collaboratively with doctors and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure proper handling of medical equipment and supplies.
  • Participate in ward rounds, trainings, and clinical meetings.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) and Registered Midwife (RM) certifications from accredited institutions.
  • Valid practicing license issued by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant clinical experience. 
  • Current practicing license is mandatory.

  • Ability to work under pressure and during emergencies.
  • Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
  • Compassion, professionalism, and teamwork.
  • Knowledge of infection prevention and patient safety practices.

  • Hospital-based role with rotational shift duties.
  • Exposure to clinical and infectious environments requiring adherence to safety protocols.
