Role Overview
The Marketing Associate will play a key role in driving the bank’s retail business growth by promoting financial products and services, engaging customers, and supporting business development activities across Northern Nigeria. This position is ideal for proactive, results-oriented professionals looking to build a stable career in the financial services sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Market and promote retail banking products and services to prospective and existing customers.
- Drive revenue generation through customer acquisition and relationship management.
- Coordinate cheque pickups and support revenue collection activities.
- Prepare call memos and maintain accurate documentation of client interactions.
- Develop and maintain a target market list to support the branch’s sales strategy.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries regarding banking services.
- Assist in loan documentation and ensure proper, compliant processing of customer requests.
- Collaborate with team members and support the Unit Head in achieving business goals.
- Perform additional duties as assigned within the scope of the role.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Education: Minimum of HND or Bachelor’s Degree with Upper Credit or Second Class Upper (2:1). Candidates with Second Class Lower (2:2) may be considered depending on experience.
- Age limit: Not more than 30 years old.
- Experience: 1 to 5 years of relevant work experience in marketing, sales, or banking.
- Skills: * Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and consistently meet targets.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- A customer-focused mindset with a strong passion for sales and quality service delivery.
