Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Introduction

 

The Private Sector Health Alliance of Nigeria (PSHAN) is a business-led nonprofit coalition working to improve Nigeria’s healthcare systemby pooling private Sector resources.

A key initiative is theAdopt-A-Health-FacilityProgramme(ADHFP), targeting the delivery of at least one global-standard Primary Healthcare Centre (PHC) in each of Nigeria’s 774 LGAs.

Position Overview

 

The Project Officer will support the planning, coordination, and execution of the ADHFP, focusing on data-driven implementationincludingmonitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL).

The role emphasizes project delivery, impact tracking, and continuous quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination (40%):

 

Work with Liaison officers for quality service delivery

Ensure project execution based ontimelines, deliverables, and stakeholder engagements.

Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning (40%):

 

Design M&E frameworks and tools.

Collect and analyze data; conduct baseline to endline assessments.

Facilitate learning sessions and adaptive project strategies.

Reporting & Communication (15%):

 

Prepare reports, impact stories, and advocacy materials.

Maintain databases on PHC project outcomes.

4Capacity Building & Quality Assurance (5%):

 

Support PHC staff training on data use and quality care standards.

Monitor SOP adherence across project sites.

Candidate Requirements

 

Bachelor’s Degree in public health, Development Studies, M&E, or related field.

3 – 5 years of experience in health/development project M&E.

Proficiencywith tools like DHIS2, KoboToolbox, Power BI, and Excel.

Strong data analysis, stakeholder engagement, and reporting skills.

Familiarity with Nigerian health systems and PHC service delivery.

Integrity, teamwork, and a results-driven mindset.
