Impact Water: Chlorine Dispenser Program – Katsina State

Impact Water, a global social enterprise with success providing safe water to over 40,000 Nigerian schools, is launching a major 16-month pilot program. We are installing and maintaining 1,000 chlorine dispensers to deliver safe drinking water across communities in Katsina State.
We are seeking reliable, passionate, and community-focused individuals to be our Front-Line Representatives in the following Local Government Areas (LGAs):
- Mashi
- Ingawa
- Dutsi
- Kusada
The Role: Community & Field Operations
As a Field Agent, you are the vital link responsible for the success of the program. Your primary duties blend logistics, community engagement, and data collection:
- Routine Monitoring: Visit ~50 assigned water points (twice monthly) to ensure dispenser functionality and collect critical GPS and usage data using smartphone apps (TW App/SurveyCTO).
- Chlorine Management: Safely transport, refill dispensers, and maintain accurate inventory to guarantee zero stock-outs.
- Mobilization: Conduct sensitization sessions, build relationships with water users, and promote consistent adoption of safe water practices.
- Safety & Mobility: Adhere to strict safety protocols for chlorine handling and possess essential motorcycle riding skills for daily field travel.
Essential Requirements
- Residency is Crucial: MUST currently reside in the LGA (Mashi, Ingawa, Dutsi, or Kusada) you are applying to.
- Education: Minimum SSCE/WAEC. OND, NCE, or Bachelor’s degree is an advantage.
- Experience: 1-2 years in community-based work, field operations, or WASH/Health programs preferred.
- Language: Fluency in Hausa is essential.
- Mobility: Motorcycle riding skills are essential.
