Project: NHF-Funded WASH Support for Conflict-Affected Populations
Location: Damboa LGA, Borno State
Submission Deadline: December 30, 2025, at 4:00 PM (Nigeria Local Time)
The Vital Importance of This Project
In conflict-affected regions like Damboa, access to clean water and dignified sanitation is a fundamental human right and a critical barrier against deadly disease outbreaks. With the support of the Nigeria Humanitarian Fund (NHF), this project targets cholera-vulnerable populations whose lives depend on the rapid restoration of hygiene infrastructure. By securing reliable vendors for these WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) interventions, we are not just procuring goods; we are delivering a frontline defense against illness and restoring the health and dignity of thousands of displaced families.
Summary of Requirements
Gibran Books and Values Society (GBVS) invites eligible and experienced vendors to submit technical and financial proposals for various WASH-related lots. The goal is to provide immediate, high-quality interventions—ranging from daily water trucking to solar borehole installation—to support humanitarian activities in Borno State.
Detailed Scope of Work (Lots)
Vendors are permitted to bid for one or more of the following categories:
- Sanitation Infrastructure: Construction of 5 blocks of gender-segregated, disability-inclusive VIP communal latrines (2 units per block).
- Water Supply: Daily chlorinated water trucking (30,000 liters/day) for a duration of 90 days.
- Hygiene Promotion: Procurement and distribution of 1,000 standard hygiene kits.
- Renewable Energy Water Systems: Drilling and installation of one (1) new Solar Motorized Borehole (SMBH) in Damboa.
- Emergency Health Support: Supply of Cholera Acute Treatment Intervention (CATI) kits and essential materials.
- Facility Restoration: Rehabilitation of 80 units of communal sanitation facilities.

- Legal & Tax: Valid Business Registration (CAC) and the most recent Tax Clearance Certificate.
- Financial Standing: Latest audited financial statements or official bank statements.
- Proven Capacity: A comprehensive company profile demonstrating relevant experience in similar WASH projects.
