We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head of Resources Mobilization

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities include:
Fundraising Strategy:

  • Develop and implement fundraising strategies to secure funding for MMF’s projects and initiatives in alignment with the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of fundraising campaigns, events, and initiatives to engage donors, raise awareness about MMF’s work, and generate financial support.
  • Collaborate with the communications and marketing team to develop fundraising materials, donor communications, and campaigns that effectively communicate the impact of MMF’s programs.
  • Analyze fundraising data and performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of fundraising efforts, track progress toward fundraising goals, and identify areas for improvement and growth.
  • Work closely with the finance and program teams to ensure alignment between fundraising activities, program budgets, and financial sustainability.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to a team of fundraising professionals to achieve fundraising targets and objectives
  • Must set and meet monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.

Donor and Partner Relationship:

  • Engage with individual donors, corporations, foundations, government agencies, and other potential funding sources.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships to create a diverse funding base for MMF.
  • Understand the unique interests and motivations of each donor or partner, and tailor communication and engagement strategies to match their preference
  • Highlight our mission, achievements, and the positive impact of the donors/ partners and their contributions.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Finance, Nonprofit Management, Banking, Fundraising) required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in fundraising, marketing, resource mobilization, development, or related roles within the banking sector and nonprofit sector.
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully securing funding from diverse funding sources, including individual donors, corporations, foundations, and government agencies.
  • Experience in managing fundraising campaigns, events, and initiatives from planning to execution and evaluation.
  • Proficiency in fundraising software, donor management systems, and tools to support fundraising activities and donor relationship management.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • In-depth knowledge of fundraising best practices, marketing, strategies, and techniques, with a focus on relationship building and donor cultivation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and communicate effectively to inspire support and engagement
  • Ability to analyze data, measure fundraising performance, and use insights to drive strategic decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and empower a team of fundraising professionals.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective fundraising strategies that align with organizational priorities and long-term goals.

Salary
N500,000 – N600,000 Monthly.
