Job Title: Graphics Design Intern
Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Summary
- As a Graphics Design Intern, you will work closely with our Production team, reporting directly to the Senior Digital Producer, and collaborate with our Communications and Social Media team.
- Your primary focus will be on creating visually engaging content for our campaigns, social media, and outreach programs.
- Photography skills are highly valued, as you will also contribute to capturing high-quality images for our events and projects.
Main Responsibilites
The role will involve, but is not limited, to the following:
Graphic Design (70%):
- Design eye-catching graphics for social media, websites, newsletters, and print materials.
- Assist in creating visual content for campaigns, events, and branding initiatives.
- Ensure all designs align with Nigeria Health Watch branding and messaging guidelines.
- Collaborate with the team to develop creative concepts and visual storytelling.
Photography and Editing (20%):
- Take and edit high-quality photographs for NGO events, field projects, and promotional use.
General Support (10%):
- Support the team with other design and photography-related tasks as needed.
Essential Competence
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Basic photography skills and experience with photo editing software (e.g., Lightroom, Photoshop).
- A portfolio showcasing graphic design and photography work (if available).
- Strong attention to detail and a creative mindset.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Passion for social impact and alignment with Nigeria Health Watch mission.
- A desire for personal development, growth, and learning.
