Child Protection Officer At Green Concern for Development

Green Concern for Development (GREENCODE) is a national humanitarian and development organization with over 10 years of development interventions and humanitarian response in Nigeria. We have partnered with several INGOs and NGOs in implementing people’s centered project.

We envisage rural communities in Nigeria that are environmentally conscious, where poverty is eradicated, and social rights upheld. We work with the poor and socially excluded people, and government for the promotion of environment and human rights protection in communities that are in Nigeria, aimed at poverty reduction through education, information sharing, research, training and direct impact intervention.

Location: Nganzai LGA, Borno State
Reports To: Child Protection Officer
Contract Duration: 6 months
Position Type: Full-time

Job Purpose:

Provide direct case management services to vulnerable children, ensuring access to appropriate referrals and follow-up support.

Key Responsibilities:

• – Conduct individual assessments and develop case plans.
• – Ensure follow-up and monitoring of cases.
• – Facilitate referrals to appropriate service providers.
• – Maintain accurate and confidential case files.
• – Participate in case conferences and coordination meetings.

Requirements:

• – Bachelor’s degree in social work, Psychology, or related field.
• – Minimum 2 years’ experience in child protection or case management.
• – Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• – Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive cases.
