Green Concern for Development (GREENCODE) is a national humanitarian and development organization with over 10 years of development interventions and humanitarian response in Nigeria. We have partnered with several INGOs and NGOs in implementing people’s centered project.
We envisage rural communities in Nigeria that are environmentally conscious, where poverty is eradicated, and social rights upheld. We work with the poor and socially excluded people, and government for the promotion of environment and human rights protection in communities that are in Nigeria, aimed at poverty reduction through education, information sharing, research, training and direct impact intervention.
Position Title: CFS Animator
Number of Positions: 20
Location: Nganzai LGA, Borno State
Employment Type: Full-Time
Duration: 6 Months

Job Purpose:
- Engage with children and communities through recreational, educational, and awareness activities to promote protection and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- – Plan and conduct interactive sessions with children and youth.
- – Use storytelling, games, and theatre to pass protection messages.
- – Support awareness raising and sensitization events.
- – Report on child protection concerns observed during activities.
Requirements:
- – Diploma or certificate in education, psychology, or related field.
- – Experience working with children in community settings.
- – Creative and energetic with good facilitation skills.
- – Basic knowledge of child protection principles.
- Fluency in local languages (Hausa/Kanuri) is essential; basic English is an advantage.
- Willingness to reside in Nganzai for the project duration.
