The National Institute of Credit Administration (NICA) is Nigeria’s statutory and chartered body for the elite credit management profession. We are looking for a vibrant, high-energy Membership Relations Officer to join our team. This is a role for a persuasive communicator who can represent the Institute’s prestigious brand and build lasting relationships with the nation’s most eminent credit professionals.
Job Summary
The Membership Relations Officer serves as the primary ambassador between NICA and its growing community of credit management elites. Your mission is to drive membership growth, enhance member engagement, and market the professional services of the Institute to high-profile individuals and corporate bodies. We are seeking a brilliant, extroverted professional who can articulate the value of NICA membership and ensure our members receive the elite service and networking opportunities they expect from a chartered body.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Membership Marketing: Develop and execute high-level marketing campaigns to attract new members and corporate partners to the Institute.
- Relationship Management: Act as the dedicated point of contact for existing members, ensuring their professional needs are met and their membership status remains active.
- Professional Service Promotion: Effectively market the Institute’s training programs, certifications, and specialized credit management events.
- Network Expansion: Identify and engage with top-tier executives across various economic sectors to expand the Institute’s influence and membership base.
- Event Coordination: Assist in the organization and hosting of membership induction ceremonies, networking forums, and elite credit seminars.
- Feedback Loops: Gather and report member feedback to senior management to help refine the Institute’s service offerings and professional benefits.
Qualifications & Candidate Profile
- Academic Background: A B.Sc. in Marketing, Business Administration, or a closely related field is required.
- Industry Experience: Proven experience in marketing professional services, particularly within a chartered body, consulting firm, or high-end financial service provider.
- Personality Traits: We are looking for an extroverted, brilliant, and highly intelligent individual. You must possess the “social batteries” to network with elites and a vibrant personality that opens doors.
- Professionalism: A strong work culture characterized by results-orientation, punctuality, and the ability to maintain the prestige of the Institute.

Position Details & Location

- Salary Range: ₦150,000 – ₦200,000 per month
- Field: Sales / Marketing / Business Development
- Lagos Location Requirements: To ensure seamless daily attendance, applicants should reside in or near: Lekki, Ajah, Badore, Ado Road, Ogombo Town, Victoria Island, Dolphin Estate, Ikoyi, or Lagos Island.
- Abuja Availability: We are also accepting applications for our Abuja operations.
