Job Summary

The Warehouse Project Manager is responsible for the strategic oversight and day-to-day excellence of our storage and distribution hubs. In this role, you will design and maintain robust inventory systems that safeguard resources and ensure the seamless flow of humanitarian goods. Your leadership will directly contribute to the success of our multi-sectoral interventions, ranging from food security to emergency shelter.

Core Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership: Architect and execute comprehensive warehouse management plans, ensuring all facilities are optimized for safety, storage capacity, and efficient throughput.
  • Regulatory & Ethical Compliance: Guarantee that all logistical activities strictly adhere to international humanitarian standards, donor regulations, and organizational protocols.
  • Inventory & Asset Integrity: Implement and supervise rigorous inventory control systems to prevent loss, manage stock rotation, and maintain 100% accuracy in reporting.
  • Team Development: Lead, mentor, and supervise a dedicated team of warehouse personnel, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and professional growth.
  • Cross-Functional Synergy: Act as the primary logistical liaison for the procurement, finance, and program departments to ensure supply chains are aligned with project timelines.
  • Risk Mitigation: Conduct regular security assessments and implement advanced safety measures to protect both personnel and high-value humanitarian assets.

Candidate Profile: Skills & Qualifications

  • Educational Background: A University Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a closely related professional field.
  • Professional Experience: 3 to 5 years of proven success in warehouse or large-scale logistics management, ideally within a fast-paced environment.
  • Sector Expertise: Previous experience navigating the complexities of humanitarian or development projects is highly desirable.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced command of Microsoft Excel and modern inventory management software/ERPs.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of donor compliance requirements and best practices in humanitarian supply chains.
  • Language Skills: Full professional fluency in English is mandatory; the ability to communicate in local languages spoken in Borno State is a significant asset.
