In the complex humanitarian landscape of Northeast Nigeria, the ability to reach remote communities is the deciding factor in the success of life-saving health interventions. Reliable transport services are not merely a logistical requirement; they are the physical link between vulnerable populations and the essential reproductive health services they deserve. By partnering with us, service providers become integral contributors to the safety and efficiency of field missions that empower women and youth across Borno State.
Job Summary
The Community Development and Reproductive Health Initiative (CODERHI) is seeking to establish a one-year Framework Agreement (FWA) with reputable transport vendors to support our expanding field operations. The selected providers will ensure the safe, timely, and professional movement of personnel and materials for workshops, field assessments, and community outreach. This agreement aims to streamline our procurement process while guaranteeing high standards of vehicle safety and operational reliability in challenging terrains.
Why This Service is Important
Operating in regions like Kwayakusar and broader Borno State requires high-performance logistics to navigate security and infrastructural challenges. When transport services are reliable, our teams can focus on delivering reproductive health education and community development without delay. A robust transport framework ensures that emergency missions and routine field visits are executed with the precision and safety required in a humanitarian context.
Scope of Work & Responsibilities

- Fleet Provision: Supplying a diverse range of vehicles, including 4×4 SUVs (Hilux/Land Cruisers), Sedans, Vans, and Buses, tailored to specific mission needs.
- Professional Manpower: Providing experienced drivers who possess valid national licenses, a strong understanding of local geography, and adherence to humanitarian security protocols.
- Maintenance & Compliance: Ensuring all vehicles are in peak mechanical condition, equipped with necessary safety gear, and covered by comprehensive insurance and up-to-date registration.
- Operational Flexibility: Offering both fuel-inclusive and fuel-exclusive rental options to suit various project budget structures.
- Logistical Support: Facilitating rapid deployment for field assessments, staff transit, and the movement of training materials for community workshops.
Eligibility & Technical Requirements
Interested vendors must demonstrate their capacity through the following criteria:
- Legal Status: Valid business registration (CAC) and tax compliance documentation.
- Operational Capacity: Proof of ownership or verified access to a fleet of vehicles in excellent condition.
- Sector Experience: A proven track record of providing transport services to NGOs or international organizations in Northeast Nigeria.
- Driver Standards: Evidence of driver training, including safety and code of conduct standards.
- Financial Value: Competitive pricing structures that offer the best value for humanitarian funds.
Benefits of Partnering with CODERHI
- Long-term Collaboration: A stable, one-year agreement with the potential for annual renewal based on performance.
- Mission Contribution: The opportunity to support a leading local NGO dedicated to reproductive health and youth empowerment.
- Professional Development: Inclusion in a vetted vendor database, enhancing your organization’s profile for future humanitarian contracts.
