Job Summary
Inspire Her Afrika is looking for a dedicated and curious Grants Assistant Intern to bolster our fundraising and sustainability initiatives. This six-month, part-time remote internship offers a unique opportunity to master the end-to-end grant lifecycle, from initial prospect research to the technicalities of application and reporting. You will work closely with our leadership to ensure our programs remain funded and capable of driving long-term social change.

Key Responsibilities
Research & Strategic Mapping
- Identify and evaluate potential grant-making organizations whose priorities align with our women-centric mission.
- Maintain a proactive database of upcoming funding opportunities and industry trends in the non-profit sector.
Documentation & Process Support
- Oversee the internal grant calendar to ensure all submission milestones and deadlines are met with precision.
- Organize and update essential organizational documents required for due diligence and funder verification.
Grant Writing & Reporting
- Assist in the creation and refinement of grant proposal segments under the mentorship of senior leadership.
- Help compile data and narratives for periodic reports to keep our current donors informed of our program’s successes.
- Track the status of all applications, maintaining a clear record of pending, successful, and historical submissions.
