Key Responsibilities

Advanced Technical Oversight

  • Act as the final point of escalation for complex hardware, software, and enterprise-level network disruptions.
  • Architect and oversee the deployment, configuration, and long-term health of servers, workstations, and business applications.
  • Perform deep-dive root-cause analysis on critical system failures to implement preventative measures.

Infrastructure & Network Management

  • Administer and optimize directory services (Active Directory), Microsoft 365 environments, and specialized user access protocols.
  • Ensure the high performance and security of LAN/WAN networks, VPN tunnels, and wireless infrastructure.
  • Manage basic firewall configurations and cybersecurity monitoring to protect sensitive organizational data.

Leadership & Strategic Coordination

  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to the junior IT team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for external technology vendors and service providers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Maintain rigorous documentation for assets, licensing, and disaster recovery protocols to ensure business continuity.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related technical discipline.
  • Experience: 4 to 6 years of demonstrated success in managing IT infrastructure or senior-level support roles.
  • Technical Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of Windows Server environments, network topology, and modern IT security frameworks.
  • Specialized Skills: Proficiency in virtualization technologies, automated backup solutions, and proactive system monitoring tools.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership capabilities, a calm demeanor under high-pressure scenarios, and a analytical approach to problem-solving.
