Overview:

The Fundraising and Grant Manager at the Children Against Torture and Crime Foundation will be responsible for developing and implementing fundraising strategies to secure financial support for the organization. This role involves identifying and pursuing grant opportunities, building relationships with donors, and managing fundraising campaigns to ensure the sustainability of the foundation\’s programs and services.

Key Responsibilities:

Fundraising Strategy:

  •   Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to achieve financial goals.
  •   Identify potential donors, sponsors, and funding sources, including individuals, corporations, foundations, and government agencies.
  •   Create and execute innovative fundraising campaigns and events.

Grant Management:

  •   Research and identify grant opportunities that align with the foundation\’s mission and goals.
  •   Prepare and submit high-quality grant proposals, ensuring compliance with funding requirements and deadlines.
  •   Manage grant reporting, including tracking deliverables, outcomes, and financial expenditures.

Donor Relations:

  •   Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential donors.
  •   Develop and implement donor engagement and stewardship strategies.
  •   Coordinate donor recognition and appreciation activities to enhance donor retention.

Communication & Outreach:

  •   Develop compelling fundraising materials, including brochures, newsletters, and social media content.
  •   Represent the foundation at fundraising events, community outreach activities, and networking opportunities.
  •   Communicate the impact and importance of the foundation\’s work to stakeholders and the public.

Budget & Financial Management:

  •   Develop and manage fundraising budgets in collaboration with the finance team.
  •   Ensure fundraising activities are cost-effective and within budget constraints.
  •   Prepare financial reports and ensure compliance with funding requirements.

Collaboration & Teamwork:

  •   Work closely with program staff to align fundraising efforts with program needs and priorities.
  •   Collaborate with the communications team to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
  •   Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the organization\’s overall strategic planning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in fundraising, grant writing, or resource development, preferably within a nonprofit organization.
  • Proven track record of securing grants and donations from diverse funding sources.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in fundraising software and tools.
  • Passion for the mission and values of the Children Against Torture and Crime Foundation.
