African Natural Resources & Mines Limited (ANRML) was incorporated in 2012 as part of African Industries Groups plan to embark on Backward Integration for its Steel Production. ANRML started its foray into Mining with the acquisition of Mining Lease in Kaduna State. Subsequently ANRML has also acquired multiple Mining and Exploration licenses in various minerals in over 15 sites and exploration activities are being carried out.
We are recruiting:
Position: Weighbridge Operator
Location: Kaduna
Location: Gujeni, Kaduna
Summary
- To operate and maintain the weighbridge system efficiently and accurately record the movement of all inbound and outbound materials, ensuring compliance with company procedures and supporting store inventory control.
Responsibilities
- Operate the weighbridge to record the weights of all trucks entering and leaving the site.
- Verify and record material details (e.g., type, supplier, transporter, vehicle number, driver details).
- Ensure that all weighbridge transactions are properly documented in the weighbridge register or ERP system.
- Cross-check weighbridge data with store receipts and dispatch documents.
- Liaise with the stores, procurement, and security teams to confirm authorized material movement.
- Maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly weighbridge reports for management.
- Identify and report any discrepancies in weight, documentation, or vehicle movement.
- Ensure proper calibration, cleanliness, and functioning of the weighbridge equipment.
- Enforce site safety and compliance procedures for all loading and unloading operations.
Qualifications
- HND, OND / Diploma in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in weighbridge operations, preferably in a mining or industrial environment.
- Familiarity with ERP or weighbridge management software.
- Good understanding of material handling and store procedures.
