Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Summary
- We are looking for a reliable Quantity Surveyor to join our capable team of professionals
- The quantity surveyor will lead the design, review, planning and execution of PHC construction and refurbishment projects.
- The role combines technical oversight with strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and fundraising support.
What You`ll Do
- Manage end-to-end healthcare construction and renovation projects
- Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements.
- Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals.
- Liaising with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents.
- Advising managers and clients on improvements and new strategies.
- Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets.
- Support procurement and oversee facility handover.
- Maintain financial records, monitor cash flows, and report to donors.
- Support recruitment of institutional and individual adopters.
- Prepare project briefs and represent PSHAN in donor meetings.
- Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
- Traveling from the office to various sites as required.
- Regular Facility management.
What You`ll Need
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar fields with 5 years work experience.
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement, budgeting, and reporting.
- Construction estimating or finance experienced is advantageous.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Sound knowledge of construction.
- Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to organize, plan, and strategize.
