Job Title: Senior Global Assurance Officer, West and Central Africa
Location: Nigeria
Summary
- As a Global Assurance Senior, you’ll be at the forefront of strengthening Plan International’s global operations.
- You’ll lead assurance engagements and strategic reviews across regions, providing senior leadership and the International Board with critical insights into the effectiveness of our systems, programs, and controls.
- You’ll also play a key role in implementing GA’s strategy, collaborating on cross-functional projects, and supporting Country Offices in building robust second-line functions.
- Acting as a trusted advisor, you’ll guide regional and country-level teams on best practices in governance, risk management, and internal control.
- This is more than an audit role—it’s a chance to apply systems thinking, drive process improvements, and help shape a resilient, high-performing organization.
What You’ll Do
- Lead assurance engagements at regional and global levels
- Provide objective insights to senior management and the International Board
- Support implementation of GA strategic initiatives
- Strengthen second-line functions in Country Offices
- Advise management teams on governance, risk, and control practices
- Apply audit principles alongside problem-solving and process optimization

- Proven experience in audit, assurance, or risk management
