Responsibilities
Conduct psychoeducation sessions to raise awareness among MSF staff about mental health and well-being at work
Provide individual psychological support to staff members according to MSF protocols to improve their mental health status
Provide group psychosocial support to staff members according to MSF protocols to improve their mental health status
Provide training to staff on various mental health topics that contribute to a better understanding of staff needs for psychosocial support and coping mechanisms
Map external mental health resources for reference
Refer staff members to other professionals if necessary: staff health manager, general practitioner, psychotherapist, psychiatrist, etc.
Ensure the confidentiality of all personnel data
Collect and track data on individual and group activities and ensure reporting to the PRM/medical coordinator/staff health manager
Collaborate with other staff health profiles as needed + inform about individual cases requiring specialized care
As appropriate, share overall staff issues requiring attention with the coordination team
Actively participate in training, supervision/interactions with other colleagues in charge of staff support. Discuss with the supervisor any difficulties and problems that arise during support sessions
Organize prevention activities in place of the mental health and well-being of MSF staff working in Katsina and Jahun projects
Identify workplace stressors and their management
Offer psychological trough individual and/or group support to MSF staff
Organise training on specific topics related to psychosocial risks
Participate in clinical supervision on a weekly basis with the support of the regional psychologist
In collaboration with the PSU Dakar, define the referencing criteria
Strengthening the capacity of caregivers on the PFA
In collaboration with PSU Dakar, participate in the management of critical incidents on the mission
Maintaining professional secret and confidentiality
Do monthly sitreps
Participate in data analysis and weekly, monthly and annual narrative reports.
