Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international, independent humanitarian medical organization providing emergency assistance to people affected by conflict, epidemics, disasters, or exclusion from healthcare.

MSF Nigeria is currently recruiting qualified candidates for the position below:

Position: Nursing Team Supervisor – IPD Location: Gummi, Zamfara State Contract Type: 5 Months Definite Contract Application Deadline: 27th May 2026 (5:00 PM)

Main Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate nursing activities within the IPD, isolation, and paediatric wards
  • Ensure implementation of MSF nursing protocols, hygiene, and IPC procedures
  • Organize staff schedules, supervise performance, and identify training needs
  • Ensure quality patient care, proper documentation, and effective reporting
  • Monitor pharmacy stock, medical equipment, and drug consumption
  • Support mentorship, on-the-job training, and team development
  • Ensure proper patient flow and continuity of care

Requirements

  • Nursing Degree or Diploma
  • Valid Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) License
  • Minimum of 2 years nursing experience
  • Previous NGO or MSF experience is an added advantage
  • Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Internet)
  • Knowledge of Hausa/Fulani is desirable
