Talent Lab Ltd is recruiting LGA Consultants to support health program implementation across Kano, Kebbi, and Yobe States. This role is ideal for experienced professionals who can provide technical support to Local Government Primary Health Care Departments in priority LGAs.
About the Role
The LGA Consultant will support the planning, coordination, and execution of high-quality polio campaigns, particularly in hard-to-reach and security-compromised areas. The role involves working closely with LGA teams, partners, and stakeholders to ensure effective program delivery and improved health outcomes.
Core Responsibilities
- Support LGA-level planning, including development of costed micro-plans and settlement harmonization
- Coordinate and supervise immunization campaign activities (RES, IEV, and other PHC interventions)
- Oversee training and performance of vaccination teams and ward supervisors
- Ensure timely distribution of vaccines, cold chain equipment (CCE), and GTS devices
- Manage and analyze real-time campaign data for daily review and decision-making
- Conduct field monitoring and provide feedback to improve campaign performance
- Collaborate with partners such as WHO, UNICEF, and AFENET
- Collate and verify financial and operational data for accountability and reporting
Requirements
- Minimum of OND, HND in sciences, social sciences, health, or a related field
- 1–5 years of relevant experience in health programs or immunization campaigns
- Strong experience in data management and reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent communication and report writing skills
- Fluency in local dialects is an added advantage
- Must be a resident of Kano, Kebbi, or Yobe State
- Experience working in security-compromised or hard-to-reach areas
- Willingness to conduct regular field visits
