Position: Enumerator
Job Summary
Praise Monitoring and Consultancy (PMC) is inviting applications from qualified, motivated, and detail-oriented individuals for Enumerator positions across Katsina State.
Selected candidates will support field-based data collection activities, including interviews and monitoring exercises, using digital data collection tools. Successful applicants may be assigned to different communities and locations across the state.
Requirements and Qualifications
Applicants are expected to meet the following requirements:
- Minimum of Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or equivalent qualification.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English and Hausa.
- Basic digital literacy and ability to use digital tools for data collection.
- Access to an Android smartphone for field activities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity, honesty, and attention to detail.
- Willingness and ability to travel to assigned locations across Katsina State.
- Previous experience in fieldwork, surveys, interviews, monitoring, or data collection will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct interviews with respondents in assigned communities.
- Collect accurate information using digital data collection platforms.
- Enter responses correctly and ensure submitted information is complete and reliable.
- Follow fieldwork instructions and assigned data collection procedures.
- Interact professionally and respectfully with respondents.
- Maintain the confidentiality of information collected during field activities.
- Report fieldwork progress and challenges to supervisors.
