Job Summary
NewGlobe is seeking a strategic and data-driven academic leader to oversee educational outcomes across its schools in Katsina State. The successful candidate will lead academic planning, coordinate education programmes, improve instructional quality, and collaborate with government education stakeholders to enhance student learning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of the state’s academic plan and coordinate academic initiatives across departments.
- Monitor student performance and use data to improve teaching quality and learning outcomes.
- Provide feedback to instructional design teams to strengthen teaching materials and contextualize learning content.
- Represent NewGlobe in engagements with government education stakeholders, including SUBEB, MOE, and UBEC.
- Develop and implement programmes and policies to improve student achievement and school operations.
- Manage the academic team within the assigned territory.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; postgraduate qualifications are preferred.
- Experience working with primary schools as a teacher, school leader, or education project professional.
- Experience evaluating student learning, teacher development, or educational programmes is desirable.
- Strong leadership, project management, communication, stakeholder engagement, and data analysis skills.
