Requirements and Qualifications
The following are suggested requirements based on the nature of the position:
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or another relevant field.
- Relevant experience supporting cash and voucher assistance (CVA), humanitarian cash transfers, or livelihood programmes.
- Knowledge of cash distribution procedures, beneficiary registration, verification, and payment documentation.
- Ability to maintain accurate beneficiary records, distribution lists, and financial documentation.
- Experience conducting community assessments, monitoring distributions, and collecting beneficiary feedback.
- Strong numerical, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with digital data collection tools is an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work respectfully with vulnerable communities.
- Understanding of accountability to affected populations, safeguarding, and fraud prevention.
- Ability to work effectively with programme teams, financial service providers, community leaders, and other stakeholders.
- Willingness to work in field locations and challenging humanitarian environments.
Experience supporting internally displaced persons, conflict-affected households, or food security and livelihood programmes would be an advantage.
