By Myngojobs April 15, 2026 3 min read

Are you a technologist passionate about making a real-world impact? Do you believe that data and digital tools are the keys to solving some of the world’s most persistent health challenges?

Malaria Consortium (MC) is currently looking for visionary State Campaign Digital Health Officers in Abuja, Borno, and Kogi. This isn’t just an IT role—it’s a leadership opportunity to architect the digital systems that will help eliminate malaria in Nigeria.

The Mission: Beyond the Code

In Nigeria, malaria remains a significant challenge, but the tools we use to fight it are evolving. As a Digital Health Senior Technical Officer, you won’t just be maintaining systems; you will be the bridge between innovative technology and public health impact.

Your work will directly address inefficiencies in program implementation and provide the evidence needed for life-saving decision-making. From designing digital needs assessments to integrating community-level data into national dashboards, you will be at the forefront of health digitization.

Why This Role is Different

  • Strategic Leadership: You’ll own the digital roadmap for your state, from appraising health system readiness to managing high-level stakeholder relationships.

  • Building a Legacy: A core part of this mission is sustainability. You will be training government stakeholders and building local capacity so that these digital platforms thrive long after the campaign ends.
  • Real Impact: Every dashboard you build and every Android application you refine helps ensure that health interventions reach the children and families who need them most.

Who We Are Looking For

We need “critical thinkers” who can work independently and navigate challenging field environments. You should have:

  • A Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Health Informatics.
  • Deep experience with DHIS2 and coding (XML/SQL/HTML/PHP).
