Job Title: Logistics Intern, Nigeria

Job Requisition ID: 20959
Location: Abuja
Duration: 6 months (June 2026 – December 2026)  
Grade Level: NRC Grade 2
Reporting Line: Logistics Coordinator
Travel: Up to 40% 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in procurement processes by collecting quotations, preparing purchase orders, and ensuring compliance with NRC procurement policies
  • Support supplier follow-up to ensure timely delivery and resolve any logistical issues
  • Maintain and update asset inventory records, ensuring accuracy and accountability
  • Ensure proper documentation and filing of logistics records on O365 for audit readiness
  • Support data entry and database updates, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Assist in asset disposal processes in line with NRC policies and procedures
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
  • Support market assessments and supplier prequalification processes as required
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor to support logistics and operations.

Qualifications

  • Recent graduate in Supply Chain Management, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
  • Basic understanding of logistics and operations processes
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Interest in the humanitarian/NGO sector
  • Fluency in English is required.
