Job Title: Short-term Consultant (For 3 Senior Private Sector in Health Experts)

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct a rapid situational analysis of the private health market to identify and document current and prospective U.S. investors.
  • Arrange and support meetings with local partners, as necessary including with global pharmaceutical companies, medical device manufacturers, and clinic/hospital networks.
  • Contribute to the development of a private sector engagement strategy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Lead.

 Required Qualifications

  • Advanced Degree preferred; Master’s Degree in Social Science, Business, Public Health, Health Economics, or a related field
  • 12+ years of experience in the private sector within healthcare delivery, healthcare services, healthcare investment, or health focused business association (such as a local chapter of the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham).
  • Established relationships with local and global pharmaceutical companies, medical device manufacturers, and clinic/hospital networks.
  • Strong understanding of current investment opportunities in the health sector and experience identifying or supporting public–private partnerships.
  • Availability to participate in in-country meetings for a minimum of 1.5 days.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements and manage competing priorities.
  • Proven initiative and responsiveness in dynamic and fast-changing environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Fluency in English. The Côte d’Ivoire candidates must also be proficient in French.
