We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Workshop Assistant

Location: Bauchi
Employment Type: Temporary
Duration: 2 days
Project: PF-SMC and KOICA

Job Purpose

  • The purpose of this TOR is to engage a Workshop Assistant to provide support for the Health Facility Workers (HFWs) Training and Community Level Training.

Scope of Assignment
Specific activities of workshop assistant (IT & Administration):

  • Liaise with the hotel to keep to feeding times.
  • Distribute workshop materials to participants as necessary.
  • Take a photograph of the training sessions.
  • Set up and operate IT equipment for the smooth running of the meeting.
  • Do other assigned duties for the smooth running of the workshop.

Deliverables:

  • Attendance sheets for participants.
  • Typed in Excel format the list of participants with bank account details.
  • E-copy of training pictures.
  • Brief & concise report on Workshop Assistant responsibilities to support Health Facility Workers (HFWs) Training, and Community Level Training.

Requirements

  • A minimum of an HND / B.Sc. in any discipline.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Experience in providing administrative support for workshops and training.
  • Ability to take notes of a meeting.
  • For this position, previous working experience with MC and in SMC is an added advantage.

Skills and competencies:

  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office suites (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and MS Project
  • packages).
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills are required.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team and to handle multiple priorities is required.
