We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Workshop Assistant

Location: Sokoto

Purpose of Assignment

  • The forty-six (46) workshop assistants are to provide five (5) days logistics and workshop support for 2025 SMC LGA Cascade Training holding in the 23 LGAs of Sokoto State.

Tasks

  • Report on duty by 7:30am to ensure the training venue is always clean, tidy and hygienic throughout the training period.
  • Facilitate the logistics movement of training materials to and from the training venues.
  • Support the distribution of training materials to participants when needed.
  • Ensure attendance sheets are completed by all workshop participants.
  • Compile and type participants’ attendance lists into an electronic template.
  • Compile, verify and type participants’ account details into an electronic template.
  • Liaise with the MC focal persons at the various LGAs to keep feeding times.
  • Take photographs of training sessions
  • Set up and operate IT equipment for the smooth running of the meeting.
  • Do other assigned duties for the smooth running of the workshop.

Required Output / Deliverables.
At the end of the assignment, the expected deliverables include:

  • Completed and validated participant’s/facilitators attendance list (hard copies and soft copies)
  • Collated and validated bank details of facilitator/ participants (both hard and soft copy)
  • Returned training materials/ equipment and assets back to MC office after close of the training.
  • Attendance sheets for participants
  • Typed in excel format the list of participants with bank account details.
  • E-copy of training pictures
  • Will submit a report of the Training to the Admin Officer

Reporting:

  • The Support staff will report directly to the State Administrative Officer and activity technical lead/facilitator.

Expert Profile
The following is required by the Support Officer:

  • Minimum of SSCE qualification
  • Must have a functional android phone, i-phone not allowed.
  • Must have at least one-year experience in similar positions/assignment
  • Good numeracy, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good attention to details and accuracy.
