Job Title: WASH Officer (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene)
Location: Garki, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibility
- Provide Technical and Operational support for WASHMATA INITIATIVES programmes.
Requirements
- Must be hardworking, focused and a solution provider
- Willing to learn and unlearn.
- Ability to read, distil and present information
- Proficient with MS Office apps mainly Word, Excel & PowerPoint and familiar with using collaborative working tools such as Google Drive and/or MS Teams.
- Conversant with WASH Sector
Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of WASH sector policies, frameworks, and standard.
- Experience in designing and implementing WASH infrastructure (e.g. boreholes, latrines, water treatment systems).
- Ability to conduct community sensitization and hygiene promotion activities. Proficiency in water quality testing and monitoring.
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and community engagement skills.
- Strong report writing, data collection, and analysis skills.
- Project management and coordination experience with stakeholders.
