Live Your Dreams Africa Foundation (LYDA), established in 2013, is a Non-Governmental Organization with a mission to tackle unemployment and underemployment across Africa. We do this by equipping young people with enterprise development skills, fostering creativity, and driving innovation.

We are currently calling for passionate volunteers to join our team and contribute their skills in making real social impact. Whether you are skilled in Data Analysis, Community Management, Monitoring & Evaluation, or Program Management, we have a place for you.

Volunteer Role 1: Data Analyst

Role: Volunteer – Data Analyst
Location: Lagos
Job type: Contract/Remote

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and analyze program-related datasets.

  • Develop reports and dashboards to track progress and outcomes.

  • Provide actionable insights to support program design and implementation.

  • Collaborate with Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) and program teams.

Requirements

  • Degree/background in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.

  • Proficiency in Excel, SPSS, R, Python, or similar tools.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Volunteer Role 2: Community Manager

Role: Volunteer – Community Manager
Location: Lagos
Job type: Contract/Remote

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage and grow the LYDA online and offline community.

  • Manage social media platforms and create engaging content.

  • Organize events, discussions, and campaigns to strengthen community ties.

  • Collect feedback from community members to improve programs.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience managing online communities or social media platforms.

  • Creative mindset with content creation skills.

  • Passion for youth empowerment and community building.

Volunteer Role 3: Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Officer

Role: Volunteer – Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Officer
Location: Lagos
Job type: Contract/Remote

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement monitoring frameworks and tools.

  • Track program progress and performance indicators.

  • Conduct evaluations and generate reports for stakeholders.

  • Work with program teams to ensure data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

  • Background in Social Sciences, Development Studies, or related field.

  • Experience in designing M&E frameworks and tools.

  • Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods.

  • Ability to analyze data and write clear reports.

Volunteer Role 4: Program Manager

Role: Volunteer – Program Manager
Location: Lagos
Job type: Contract/Remote

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, plan, and coordinate LYDA programs.

  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.

  • Lead teams and supervise volunteers for program success.

  • Report program outcomes to stakeholders and donors.

Requirements

  • Degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Development Studies, or related field.

  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.

  • Experience managing projects or programs (NGO experience is an advantage).

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
