About AMCE
The African Medical Centre of Excellence (AMCE) Abuja is a state-of-the-art specialist hospital developed by Afreximbank, in clinical partnership with King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (UK).
Designed as a 500-bed tertiary healthcare facility (implemented in phases, starting with 170 beds), the centre focuses on oncology, cardiovascular, haematology, nuclear medicine, diagnostics, and advanced surgical care. AMCE aims to serve over 350,000 patients within its first five years, becoming the premier referral and training centre for West Africa.
