Plan International was founded over 75 years ago with a mission to promote and protect the rights of children. The organization was set up by British journalist John Langdon-Davies and refugee worker Eric Muggeridge in 1937, with the original aim to provide food, accommodation and education to children whose lives had been disrupted by the Spanish Civil War. The Gender Equality and Inclusion officer will provide support to Gender Equality Coordinator in ensuring project processes, activities and outputs are in line with project Gender Equality and Inclusion Strategies and contribute to Plan International Nigeria, Donor, National and State level commitments to Gender Equality and Inclusion About You We are looking for applicant with University degree or equivalent in Social Science, Art with background in Gender studies, Anthropology or its equivalent from a recognised university. A master’s degree will be an added advantage. The candidate should possess a minimum of 3 years practical work experience in mainstreaming Gender Equality and Inclusion in projects. Experience in implementing gender-transformative projects will be an added advantage. S/he should possess the ability to use a safeguarding and intersectional lens in how gender-transformative programming is carried out to ensure project approaches and activities are sensitive to risk of harm to children/adolesce Method of Application Interested and qualified?
