Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Research Assistant to support our research initiatives. The ideal candidate will assist in data collection, analysis, literature reviews, and report preparation. This role is crucial in ensuring the success of our health research projects aimed at improving child healthcare outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing and conducting research studies related to child health.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Perform literature reviews and summarize key findings.
  • Prepare research reports, presentations, and grant proposals.
  • facilitate development of training curriculum.
  • Create a usable database with computer savvy stance and maintain/update organizational contact lists/database.
  • Facilitate the organization of LHCHF Seminars.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical research guidelines and protocols.
  • Collaborate with research teams, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders.
  • Assist in the dissemination of research findings through publications and conferences.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Education, Public Health, Social Sciences, Medical Sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 18 months of experience in research, preferably in a healthcare or academic setting.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in research software such as SPSS, NVivo, or similar tools is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to research integrity.
