Request for Expression of Interest at Universal Humanitarian Aid Initiative (UHAI) – Maiduguri

Universal Humanitarian Aid Initiative (UHAI) is a humanitarian and developmental non -governmental
organization that insist that the world can be changed positively where everyone can live a normal life
and free from poverty. UHAI work nationwide for profound change tackling the root cause of poverty,
empowering people to have a brighter future, and creating enabling environment for communities to
exercise their capacities. UHAI operates across the Northeast Nigeria and has extensive experience in
managing and monitoring emergency relief and rehabilitation actions both with local partners and
directly. Universal Humanitarian Aids Initiatives has been working in Nigeria since 2017 implementing
humanitarian and Developmental interventions across the Northeast even before its registration with
Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) on 5 th February 2023. UHAI is currently operating within 3 states in
the country, across three thematic areas: Humanitarian and Sustainable Livelihood, Education in
Emergencies, WASH and Protection with gender and inclusion principles cutting across all thematic
areas.
Working towards achieving the following objectives for the benefit of its target group which
are: the poor, socially and economically deprived people.
Applicants are invited for:
Title: Expression of Interest (EOI) – For the supply of various categories of goods and services to UHAI
field office at Ajari Gajiram, Ngazai LGA Borno State.
SCOPE OF WORK
In the framework of the Accelerated Basic Education Programme (ABEP) being implemented by UHAI
in Nganzai LGA, UHAI now invites Expression of Interest (EOI) from interested vendors for the supply
of the following categories of Goods and Services:

sets, Pen, Pencils) for 0ne hundred (100) learners
UHAI/NG/2025/EOI/002 School Bags for 0ne hundred (100) learners
UHAI/NG/2025/EOI/003 School uniforms for 0ne hundred (100) learners
UHAI/NG/2025/EOI/004 Car Hire (2 Hummer Busses)
UHAI/NG/2025/EOI/005 Catering Services

EOI Requirements
Cover letter in Company’s letterhead.
Company Profile (including the names of owners, key officers, technical personnel)
Certified true copy of Certificate of Business Registration/ Incorporation.
Company’s Articles of Incorporation, Partnership or Corporation, whichever is applicable, including
amendments thereto, if any.
Tax Certificate.
Tax Compliance: Evidence of Tax payment for the last two (2) years.
Proof of banking (Company Account details)
At least 3 evidence of similar jobs with NGOs (completed and/or ongoing).
Certificates from the Principals where applicable (e.g. Manufacturer’s Authorization, Certificate of
Exclusive Distributorship, and Any certificate for the purpose, indicating name, complete address and
contact details).
A member of the screening committee will contact you if UHAI finds you eligible.

SUBMISSION OF DOCUMENTS
The application must be submitted in one original and one copy, and the envelopes must be marked
“Original” and “Copy” with reference number written at the top left corner of the envelope
respectively as appropriate. If there are any discrepancies between the original and the copy, the
original governs. Both envelopes shall be placed in an outer envelope sealed and delivered to:
