Our mission is to provide quality education and healthcare to the less privileged in impoverished African societies. CAIN (Catering to Africans In Need) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 2013 by young adults who are very passionate about helping the less privileged in Africa. Our main target areas are healthcare and education. At the heart of this foundation is the belief that everyone should have access to quality education and healthcare regardless of socioeconomic status.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fundraising & Grant Management – Secure significant funding through successful grant proposals, partnerships, and donor engagement. Develop and implement robust fundraising strategies.
  • Strategic Leadership – Lead the execution of CAIN’s mission and strategic objectives, ensuring measurable impact and growth.
  • Program Oversight – Design, implement, and scale high-impact educational programs across multiple African countries.
  • Financial & Resource Management – Oversee budgets, financial planning, and reporting to maximize resources and sustainability.
  • Stakeholder & Partnership Engagement – Build and maintain relationships with local and global donors, NGOs, government agencies, and corporate sponsors.
  • Operations & Team Management – Supervise staff, volunteers, and project teams, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and program execution.
  • Research & Innovation – Stay updated on education sector trends, best practices, and innovative solutions to enhance CAIN’s impact.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Education, Social Sciences, Nonprofit Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in program management, nonprofit leadership, fundraising, or a similar role.
  • Proven track record of raising significant funds through grant writing, corporate sponsorships, and major donor contributions.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills with experience engaging global funders, policymakers, and corporate partners.
  • Strong financial management expertise with experience managing budgets exceeding $250,000, overseeing multi-year funding, grant reporting, and ensuring donor compliance.
  • Leadership & Team Management – Ability to inspire, lead, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with ample public speaking experience.
  • Passion for education, social impact, and a strong commitment to CAIN’s mission.
