Job Title: Program Officer

Location: Yaba, Lagos

About the Job

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Program Officer to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in supporting the recruitment and enrolment of prospective students, ensuring a smooth and positive experience throughout the admissions process.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute various aspects of the student admissions cycle, from application processing to enrollment confirmation.
  • Provide comprehensive information and guidance to prospective students and their families regarding admission requirements, programs, finances, and srudy life cycle .
  • Process and evaluate applications, including transcripts, test scores, and other supporting documents.
  • Coordinate and participate in recruitment events, such as college fairs, school visits, and school information sessions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with school counselors, community organizations, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage communication with prospective students through various channels, including email, phone, and CRM / LMS systems.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases related to student applications and admissions data.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of recruitment strategies and marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with other departments within the institution to ensure a seamless admissions process.
  • Stay up-to-date on current trends and best practices in student admissions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in student admissions, recruitment, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the higher education landscape and the admissions process.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM / LMS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
